The Pathway To New Membership:
- Fill out membership application.
- Read the Range Safety Standard Operating Procedure (RSSOP) as published on this website then sign the acknowledgement on the application and bring it and the membership application to a monthly meeting. Meetings are held April through December on the first Thursday of the month. The business meeting starts at 7 P.M. with a potluck supper prior to the meeting and starts at 6 P.M. You are welcome to come to the potluck supper.
- After Club approval of application and payment of membership dues you will have to attend a Club facility and safety orientation before getting the gate combination and membership card.
Membership renewals need only fill out the form and return with payment. Yearly memberships run from January 1st to December 31st. The cost is $35 for a single and $40 for a family membership. Memberships that are not paid by March 1st will be considered a new membership and will have to go through the new member process. Do not share the combination with non-members. Please print and fill out the application and include your e-mail address so we can send you the monthly meeting minutes and range schedule updates. Life memberships are available. Member to Club Agreement: Our members constitute our organization. The Calais Rod and Gun Club considers it to be the members’ responsibility to help identify and abate hazards or safety concerns they find on our premises. You hereby acknowledge with your membership that as a member you will take responsibility for your actions and conduct while on the club grounds. You assume the risk associated with your use of these grounds and will not hold the club responsible for injuries that incur from the voluntary use of the club facility. The Club will not be responsible for damage to or loss of personal property while on club grounds. Members that use ranges are responsible for cleaning up of any and all spent casings, targets and trash.
